Lenovo Workstation Marketing Manager in Raleigh, North Carolina

The Workstation Marketing Manager is responsible for defining the workstation marketing strategy and executing field marketing to help achieve the North America workstation revenue objectives. Responsibilities:

  • Define the overall segment strategy and document in annual and quarterly marketing briefs

  • Establish supporting marketing objectives and KPIs and coordinate with Demand Center and Events teams to ensure alignment

  • Interlock with WW Segment Marketing, NA Sales, NA Product Marketing, NA Marketing and alliance partners to provide input as part of NA Marketing planning

  • Own overall NA Segment target audience framework and messaging

  • Collaborate with the NA Workstation team and NA Segment leaders on marketing activities for Corporate, Global and PS segments

  • Collaborate with the Segment Marketing Managers to include workstation content in their Segment marketing plans

  • Establish segment event strategy and partner with PR/Comms team to best execute events

  • Partner with Demand Center to execute tele-prospecting & appointment setting program

  • Create sales collateral including battle cards, playbooks, sales pitch deck, comparison guides, etc.

  • Provide input to WW Marketing on how best to localize sales enablement assets

  • Train sales reps on field marketing campaigns, customer personas, topics, etc.

  • Develop and manage the quarterly marketing budget; negotiate funding with alliance partners

  • Works closely with the lead development and the inside sales teams to ensure alignment on strategy, definitions, targets, reporting views, and results

  • Educate sales and channel partners about marketing opportunities, best practices and techniques

  • Establish metrics to track and to optimize campaign effectiveness and lead performance


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field; MBA a plus

  • 5-7 years of B2B Marketing experience for a hardware and/or technology company; workstation experience a plus

  • Experience building integrated go-to-marketing strategies and marketing campaigns

  • Extensive experience developing content and sales enablement across the buying cycle from initial engagement to purchase

  • Direct experience executing key go-to-market field tactics such as sales enablement creation, channel co-marketing programs, promotions, sales training, etc.

  • Ability to think strategically, but also have exceptional attention to detail

  • Previous budget management experience required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management

  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with both internal and external customers

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with ability to operate on a wide range of topics and projects at one time

  • Strong analytical and quantitative capability to determine program effectiveness, ROI, etc.

  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

  • 5-10% travel required
