The Systems Analyst II/AHEC Quality Improvement Specialist provides quality improvement consulting services for physicians and physician practices throughout the Wake AHEC region to promote evidence-based care practices and to meet program objectives. Through educating and consulting with physicians and other patient care providers, the Quality Improvement Specialist supports quality initiatives and the achievement of objectives by education, data collection, data analysis, facilitation of efforts, evaluation of outcomes and other improvement methods. Interacts with a diverse group of individuals and agencies to ensure improvement efforts and results are communicated to satisfy program obligations. The work will facilitate the provider's ability to meet federally required milestones for successful implementation and use of EHRs in primary care practices.
Experience Requirements :
3 Years Electronic Medical Records Required - And/Or 3 Years Performance Improvement Or Project Management In Healthcare Required
Education Required :
Bachelor's Degree Information Technology Or Related Field Required - Or Equivalent Experience
