Job Description:

PeopleFluent works with great customers, including some of the largest and best known brand names in the world. It also works with leading healthcare providers, financial services firms, manufacturing and retail providers and others to deliver its industry-leading HCM solutions, including onboarding, recruiting, learning, performance management, compensation and succession solutions.

As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for building and executing global email based marketing campaigns across all our product lines. The role will work within our marketing automation tools (Marketo) in collaboration with internal teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into executable marketing campaigns.


• Collaborate with other members of the marketing team to determine goals, target segments, campaign flows, creative and metric requirements for each campaign

• Create, deploy, and monitor automated and demand generation marketing campaigns using Marketo. Campaigns will include nurture programs, scoring programs, and automated email communications, ad hoc email campaigns, and event programs

• Create emails, landing pages, templates, forms and reports within Marketo to support acquisition and engagement marketing programs to reach new customers and expand revenue growth within existing customer bases

• Create and expand marketing automation best practices to increase demand generation metrics

• Ensure promotional messaging and creative consistency across programs where appropriate

• Deliver emails that are proofed, accurate and in-line with best practices and branding requirements

• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales, analyze data and identify possible process improvements and system enhancements for improvements to automated marketing programs that maximize efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness

• Ensure timely creation, categorizing, and both automated and manual leads list imports through our marketing automation solution

• Increase lead-to-opportunity conversion by constantly a/b testing email campaigns and personalized nurturing programs

• Monitor prospect database hygiene and collaborate with Marketing Ops to maintain the health and accuracy of our prospect and lead database on an ongoing basis

• Monitor and report on effectiveness metrics related to tactics and programs managed by the marketing automation program and related applications

• Test, measure and optimize messaging, assets, programs, segments, tactics, etc. on an ongoing basis

• Create, modify and test professional-looking HTML email and landing page templates, ensuring cross-browser and mobile compatibility

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field

• Marketo and Salesforce experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing automation administration, developing and implementing marketing campaigns, utilizing along with an automation tool

• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, balance multiple priorities and reprioritize as needed

• Able to operate in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

• Strong communication skills

• Relentless attention to detail

• Ability to maintain highly confidential information and protect employee and company confidentiality

• Strong listening, analytic and organizational skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and a technical nature to use technology to implement solutions

• Strong Microsoft Office suite skills, including the ability to turn raw data into meaningful and useful information (pivot tables, graphs, charts, etc.) for decision-making
