Lenovo HPC CAE Segment Business Leader (Any US Location) in Raleigh, North Carolina

We are seeking a business-savvy CAE Segment Manager to manage and expand our HPC solution offerings for customers in manufacturing industries and other relevant areas. You will define our Computer Aided Engineering strategy, build and manage our relationships with CAE Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and directly support customer opportunities for revenue growth.
This position requires a deep knowledge of CAE applications, ISV ecosystem, workflows, and HPC systems in order to provide appropriate solutions that deliver differentiated value to win the business. The CAE segment Manager also influences the future product roadmaps by collaborating with product management teams and create solutions using a combination of hardware, software, and third party offerings.
It is a customer facing role and requires the skill set necessary to lead effective interactions for gathering customer requirements, demonstrating solution expertise, and communicating value of the HPC solutions in this segment.
Develop and execute CAE business strategy to meet HPC revenue goals
Perform competitive analysis of offerings in market and devise differentiating strategies
Create solutions by combining hardware, software, and service offerings that meet CAE customer objectives
Respond to customer opportunities in a holistic manner by considering application performance, workflows and ISV licensing policies to maximize value
Manage benchmarking effort by providing expert guidance to performance teams and by obtaining necessary ISV licenses
Develop industry specific messaging and actively participate in marketing campaigns and tradeshows to generate demand for solutions
Directly support sales and account teams with CAE opportunities and be the go-to-person at a worldwide level
Manage ISV relationships and joint marketing programs such as presenting webinars and publishing articles
Actively track industry challenges, trends and emerging technologies
Advise management on business decisions with long-term impact, including product roadmaps In order to be considered for the position, you must have the following basic qualifications:
10+ years of combined experience in using CAE applications, doing business development, marketing or in customer support roles with ISVs
The ideal candidate will possess the following preferred experience:
A Masters degree in engineering or related field
Experience with CAE software, including CFD, FEA, crash simulations
Prior relationships and experience with ISVs and customers are preferred
A thorough understanding of servers, GPUs, networking, storage, and workload management software
*Preference to reside in Raleigh, NC – but flexible, you may reside anywhere in the continental US
